Registration for HAND DELIVERED Entries: Must be received in person by June 12th, between the hours of 12: 00 noon-2:00 pm.
Registration for ELECTRONIC Entries: CDs must be received before June 5th. CDs are not returnable.
Notification of Acceptance: Following Juror’s decision
After Show Closes Pick-up Dates for HAND DELIVERED and ELECTRONIC: Rejected and Accepted Work must be picked up July 5th between 10:00 am -12:00 noon. Pick up at the Exhibit site. Work not picked up will have a $5.00 per day storage fee. Work not picked up after 30 days will be discarded.
Artist Reception, by invitation only: Sunday, June 26th, 7:00 pm -9:00 pm

PRIZES:

DELIVERY OF ART ENTRIES:
Please hand deliver works to the Midland Borough Building, 936 Midland Avenue on Sunday, June 12th between 12 noon and 2:00 pm. Notification of rejections only: Following juror’s decision.
HAND DELIVERED REQUIREMENTS:
Please bring in a 50-word bio along with artwork.
ENTRY FORMS:
LEGIBLY complete EXHIBIT TAGS and attach to the upper left hand corner on the back of each piece of art. Complete ENTRY CARD and deliver with art work. Please complete in advance.
PRESENTATION:
All works must be ready for show. Two-dimensional pieces must be properly framed and wired for hanging. Paper works must be protected by glass or plexiglass.

ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION ENTRIES:
Digital images may be sent on CD by mail. Please include a 50 word bio. Please send a non-returnable CD, along with a filled out form for each piece of work, and a check to: Midland Arts Council at PO. Box 295, Midland, PA 15059. CDs sent by mail must be received before June 5th.
CD REQUIREMENTS:
Write your complete name, phone number, and email address on the CD itself. Save images at 300 dpi (lower resolution files can not be used), 8 bits, as jpeg files only. They can be no larger than 5MB. Please name each digital image file on your CD exactly like this: Title of image, year of creation, and what medium it is in. (Example: The Bird, 2005, oil). Do not use: underscores, or personal reference numbers in your titles. Avoid using the following characters in an image file name or CD name: /|\?:”<>. If more than one image is untitled, name untitled 1, untitled 2 and so on. Do not use Picasa or similar file-sharing programs to burn your CDs. Before sending CDs, please double check that CDs and your image files open properly.

RETURN OF WORK:

ORIGINALITY:
Works must be original and completed within the last three years. No kits or works done under instruction are accepted.
SALES:
All sales are the responsibility of the artist.
RESTRICTIONS:
Work should not exceed 48 inches in any direction or 100 pounds in weight.
ENTRY FEE:
A non-refundable charge of $10.00 entry fee for each work must be submitted. Each artist is limited to three works of art. You may enter three at the discounted rate of $25.00 for all three.
MEDIA:
All media will be considered with the following exceptions: NO video, installations, sculpture or crafts.
INSURANCE:
Although due caution will be taken to guard works and frames from injury, all entries must be entered at the artist's own risk.
